Worship should be our natural heartfelt reaction to God for what
He is and what He does. The response can take various forms
including singing, celebrating, reverently bowing, or by expressing
our love through obedience and devotion. Worship can be
experienced within a large assembly during a church service or in
the solitude of a small room. We can worship in spite of the
life situation we find ourselves in. God's love and goodness are
constant and independant of our disposition. He is always
worthy of our worship and praise.
Detailed step by step instructions for worship are not found in the
Bible. God wants us to respond spontaneously and genuinely.
How precious is it to a mother when her young child smiles, runs up to
her, and hugs her simply because they are moved at that moment to do
so. Heartfelt worship from each of us is likely to please God
in a similar manner. Just as the child is to the mother, we are objects
of God's deep and wide love.
The musical style at Heart Song is contemporary and heartfelt.
